Absolutely bursting at the seams, Netflix in November continues on with weekly offerings The Good Place, Riverdale S2, Designated Survivor (fortnightly), Dynasty S1, and Star Trek Discovery. Plenty of fantastic original content to keep you glued to the screen, let's jump in and investigate this release list.

Netflix Original:

The Punisher (trailer) joins the stable of Marvel series (as hinted in the credits of the Defenders S1). This 13 episode series drops November 17, and sheds light on the back story of military man Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal of Walking Dead fame).

Alias Grace (trailer) - Based on bestselling novel by Margaret Atwood's, this six part miniseries follows Grace Marks, a poor Irish immigrant who is suspected of the murder of her household, alongside stable hand James McDermott. Starring Sarah Gadon as Grace Marks, and directed by Sarah Polley.

The Sinner S1 (trailer) - Jessica Biel returns to TV, as a woman suffering amnesia, and cannot explain the murder of a stranger she committed in broad daylight on a beach. Not sure if it's a crime thrilled who-dunnit or a psychoanalysis of the why. Also starring Bill Pullman.

Spike Lee has updated his original 1986 offering and brought it up to contemporary Brooklyn. She's Gotta Have It S1 (trailer) is now a 10-ep miniseries. Nola Darling is a self confessed 'sex positive, polyamarous pansexual' (DeWanda Wise), an artist in Brooklyn New York who struggles to divide her time between work, friends, and her three lovers. Looks like a fun romp.

Two war veterans return home to Mississippi after WW1, where they struggle to readjust to life amidst racism and class struggles. Based on Hillary Jordan's novel, and set in 1940, two families living on the one farm navigate racism, poverty and WW1. Adapted for the big screen by Dee Rees, Mudbound (trailer) is gripping in its storytelling, and set to catch an Oscar nod.

Movies:

You must watch Inception (trailer) by Christopher Nolan, it's an exquisite execution of a fantastic idea. Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) delves into the subconscious of his clients and steals information. Can't say much more without spoiling the thrill. This bears repeat screenings as you glean backgrounds for clues.

Some really awesome additions to the library this month, incluing the Men in Black trilogy, Silver Linings Playbook, Six Degrees of Separation, and Pursuit of Happyness.

Children:

For the young and the young at heart, Disney's live action remake of Beauty and the Beast (trailer) is a must watch. Led by Emma Watson as the precocious, inventor Belle, and starring opposite Dan Stevens Beast. Disney has brought this magical tale to life, with its iconic music, and beloved characters. Also starring Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou. Fantastic family offering.

Marmaduke (2010 - trailer) Great Dane Marmaduke is set for a new adventure as his family moves to California. Inoffensive and easy to love, little ones will enjoy the talking animals and fart jokes.

For young audiences, we have ongoing series Project Mc2 (trailer), Furchester Hotel S2, Glitter Force Doki Doki, Dinotrucks Supercharged, and Happy Feet (2006). Not forgetting Luna Petunia: S3 and Spirit: Riding Free: S3
