Netflix's original content shines brightly in April, with a large selection guaranteed to please everyone in the family.

Sandy Wexler (trailer) is Adam Sandler third film collaboration with Netflix, and he has recently signed on for another three more. In this latest offering, Adam Sandler is a big hearted Hollywood manager who find success with a new singing talent, played by Jennifer Hudson.

From the director of Drinking Buddies and the creator of 'Easy', Win it all (trailer) is a story about Eddie Garret (Jake Johnson of New Girl fame), an gambling addict who has terrible playing luck, he never wins! When he is asked to look after a bag as a favour for a friend, he soon discovers thousands of dollar bills in the bag. It's too much of a temptation for Eddie, who is trying to pull himself together and 'be an adult' - he even snags a girlfriend and life is on the up. Also starring Aislinn Derbez and Keegan-Michael Key.

In Small Crimes (trailer), after serving time for the attempted murder of a District Attorney, disgraced former cop Joe Denton (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) returns home, and walks right back into the same chaotic problems he left behind. There's a target on his back, and unfinished business haunts him in the form of angry residents and doubtful and weary parents. On top of that, Lieutenant Pleasant (Gary Cole) blackmails him to kill a mob boss who could dob in plenty of dirty cops. Also starring Jacki Weaver and Robert Forster,

Casting Jon Benet (trailer) will be released worldwide on April 28. In a documentary style, locals of Boulder, Colorado audition to play members of the Ramsay family – as a retrospective examination of how each family member could have contributed, (or not) to the tragedy. Intriguing and voyeuristically dark, the Jon Benet mystery still captures the imagination and endures after twenty years. Directed by Kitty Green who has also recently directed The Face of Ukraine: Casting Oksana Baiul, which won Sundance's Film Festival 2015.

How to get Away with Murder S2 (trailer) drops on April 4. Oscar winning actress Viola Davis reprises her role as Professor Annalise Keating in this legal drama thriller from the inimitable Shonda Rhimes.

In Girlboss (trailer, Britt Robertson plays Sophia Amuroso, founder and owner of Nasty Gal, successful online retailer of clothes through eBay platform. A rags to riches story, with keen business sense, Nasty Gal was built it from the ground up and is now worth in the region of $70m. Netflix is fairly coy with information about this series, all we know is it arrives April 21.

Children's selections include long awaited sequel Finding Dory (trailer) - Dory embarks on a search for her parents with Nemo and Marlin tagging along. Her journey takes her to the Marine Life Institute in California, meeting plenty of memorable friends along the way. Told with a light touch on difficult themes of family and loss, young audiences will applaud this continuation of Nemo/Dory's story.

We also have The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show: S4, and Dawn of the Croods: S3 for younger viewers.
